After spending nearly 10 years in Submarines in the Royal Australian Navy, Joe landed in major infrastructure projects in Victoria, Australia. It was there he realised the social value creation that can exist as a positive by-product of significant government infrastructure contracts. The opportunity to challenge the norm in supply chain engagement and people-centric diversity aligned with his personal values, and he is now the lead advisor looking to work with like-minded organisations.
After five years embedded in major projects like the Level Crossing Removal Program and the North East Link (constructor side) Joe decided to spread the impact in multiple directions at once by starting a small advisory firm working with organisations who want to leave a lasting social legacy. While currently small, Joe wants EdifyConnect to grow a team of experts with delivery experience because he has the strong desire to create a lasting social impact.
We have an alignment with Soldier On - a Veteran centric charity, as a Service Ambassador. Dedicated to the cause of creating genuine support for the Veteran community.
We are absolutely committed to creating social value and our primary purpose is to never shy away from the opportunity to challenge societal norms. We are hellbent on creating social impact wherever we can and we want to help organisations achieve their potential. Solve problems, remove barriers. Create Impact.
We have the advantage of lived experience and seeing firsthand what barriers exist for people who come from different backgrounds. We also have seen what it takes to bring outcomes to life in major infrastructure and the effect it has on the people who are the beneficiaries of the various policies.
